Gran Turismo Champion Igor Fraga to Compete in the SUPER GT 2023 Series for Anest Iwata Racing in the RC F GT3!

The new Anest Iwata Racing with Arnage racing team, who will compete in the GT300 class for the 2023 season, has announced that Gran Turismo champion Igor Omura Fraga will join them as their first driver. The team will compete in the SUPER GT 2023 Series in the No. 50 'ANEST IWATA Racing RC F GT3' race car, and Fraga will be joined by Japanese racing drivers, Yuga Furutani and Miki Koyama.

Fraga is a racing driver who continues to straddle both the real and virtual worlds of motorsports.

In 2017, he won the F3 Brazilian Championship in his home country. In 2019, he competed in the Formula Regional European Championship, where he won four races and finished third in the driver standings, and in 2020 he won the Toyota Racing Series championship. A passionate Gran Turismo player since childhood, Fraga honed his skills in virtual motorsports winning the inaugural FIA Gran Turismo Championships Nations Cup in 2018 and leading Toyota to title success in the Manufacturers Series in 2019 and 2020.

Polyphony Digital, the developer of the Gran Turismo series, is a partner of ANEST IWATA Racing and will design the livery for the team’s car.

Keep an eye out for the 'ANEST IWATA Racing RC F GT3' when it takes to the track in the GT300 class later this year.
