The list of tracks that serve as the stage for all the racing action feature the usual mix of real-life circuits and original courses, taking players to 41 different locations for a total of 121 unique layouts. Classic series circuits from the original Gran Turismo such as Trial Mountain, Deep Forest, and High Speed Ring make their comebacks, updated with the latest advancements in technology. And, just like with the vehicles, additional tracks have also been added to the game via regular content updates since the title's release.

New improved physics simulation model

With more than 25 years of development behind it, this installment delivers the most advanced physics simulation model ever seen in Gran Turismo. Through the use of computational fluid dynamics, the game accurately reproduces changes in downforce caused by variations in ride height, as well as the effects of wind direction and air turbulence on vehicle handling. While past titles have featured wet conditions, Gran Turismo 7 takes the system even further with a far more precise simulation of how the road becomes saturated—and how it gradually dries. Natural phenomena now emerge with striking realism: puddles form in low-lying areas, and the racing line clears more quickly as cars sweep water away. The result is dramatic, ever-changing competition where conditions evolve lap by lap. In this environment, anything can happen.

Sport mode expands the scope of e-motorsports

Alongside its rich automotive content, Gran Turismo 7 is built to support esports at every level. In Sport Mode, players can easily join Daily Races or compete in the official Online Championship, a global series that has run annually since 2018. This championship extends beyond online competition, culminating in live events for the highest-ranked drivers each season. All past race action is available to watch on Gran Turismo LIVE, and several of these top competitors even appear as characters within Gran Turismo 7.
