- Opening of the ‘FIA Gran Turismo Championships' 2020 Series Manufacturer Series - Exhibition Stage

From 18 March to 19 April, we will be hosting the Manufacturer Series – Stage 1 of the‘FIA Gran Turismo Championships’ 2020 Series. The ranking is based on an effective points system: the final score will be tallied from the best 3 Rounds out of the total 10 Rounds.
[IMPORTANT]
The 'FIA Gran Turismo Championships' 2020 Series Manufacturer Series will be fought inthe same manner as last year with 10 Rounds per Stage, for a total of 40 Rounds across 4 Stages.
The final score will be tallied from the best 1/4 Rounds out of the total for that Stage(rounded up).
■ Stage 1 Calculation
・At the end of Rounds 4, the points from the best Round will count towards the final score.
・At the end of Rounds 8, the points from the best 2 Rounds will count towards the final score.
・At the end of Rounds 10, the points from the best 3 Rounds will count towards the final score.
Continuing into Stage 2 and beyond, the number of Rounds that are counted towards the final score will increase, with the best 10 Rounds to be counted after 40 Rounds.
At the end of each Stage, competitors will be selected to participate in the upcoming World Tour live events according to their ranking. For the 'World Tour 2020 - Nürburgring', the results at the end of Stage 1 will be used in the selection process. In addition, players will be able to change their manufacturer affiliation contract at the start of Stage 1, and won’t be able to change it again until the end of Stage 4.

[Top 16 Superstars]
The schedule below shows each Round and the 'Top 16 Superstars' race.
■ Race Schedule
・Starting time for each race, every day: 18:00, 19:20, 20:40, 22:00, 23:20 CST (5 races in total.)
■ 'Top 16 Superstars' Schedule
・Round 10 (Race Time: 20:40 CST)
・Selection Criteria: Acquired points
・Bonus Points: 0 Base Points, 1x Points Multiplier
・Entry Restriction: Up to 2 players from the same Manufacturer
The standard race will commence 10 minutes after the start of the 'Top 16 Superstars' race.
