NATIONS CUP
Japan Seizes Victory in Season 1! L-Shooter_RB26 Defeats Australia!
2018 Season 1: Nations Cup
2018/07/06

The Asia/Oceania Region saw some seriously fierce face offs between Japan and Australia during the Test Season, and the final Round of Season 1 was no exception. The race was hosted on the Lake Maggiore Circuit, known for its combination of rapid ascents and descents.

The Japan vs. Australia battle began already from qualifying. #6 L-Shooter_RB26 (Japan) started from pole position, and Australia’s ace driver, #5 Nik_Makozi, started from 3rd place on the grid.

Immediately from the start, #6L-Shooter_RB26 rushed to widen the gap from chasing cars. #5 Nik_Makozi fought alone against the top group of Japanese racers, entering a heated dogfight against CLS63AMG-sc (Japan) for 2nd place.

On lap 6, the top group led by #6 L-Shooter_RB26 entered the pit and returned to the track in the same order. #5 Nik_Makozi (Australia) gave a good chase, but was not able to close the gap with #6 L-Shooter_RB26 in the lead.

In the final lap, #2 CLS63AMG-sc (Japan), who made the pit stop 1 lap later than everyone, caught up to #5 Nik_Makozi in 2nd place. A tail-to-nose battle ensued, with no overtake happening, and #2 CLS63AMG-sc finished the race in 3rd place.

The battle between the countries in the Asia/Oceania Region ended with a victory for Japan, thanks to its representative #6 L-Shooter_RB26.
