The TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GT Cup Returns! Join the Action to Receive the GR010 HYBRID (2024 Livery) and Win In-game Credits!

On Wednesday, April 10, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) unveiled the specifics of the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GT Cup 2024 scheduled to take place on Gran Turismo 7.

This edition—commemorating TGR's sixth year of organizing an e-Motorsports tournament—will showcase the GR series of cars alongside specially designed race vehicles. For the 2024 event, the TGR GT Cup will comprise seven rounds of Online Qualifiers, culminating in the Grand Final in December, where the top 24 players from across the globe will compete.

Enter the Online Qualifiers and Receive a Special Car!

All players who enter the Online Qualifiers will receive a free GR010 Hybrid, complete with the 2024 livery for use in-game. This new matt black-based color scheme is featured on TGR competition cars such as the GR010 HYBRID that competes in the 2024 World Endurance Championship Series (WEC).

Win up to 9 million In-game Credits with Point Ranking Rewards

You can win in-game credits based on your position in the online rankings with the new Point Ranking Rewards bonus. Up to 9,000,000 Cr. will be up for grabs! These rewards will be distributed at the end of the season.

Bringing Together a Roaring Collection of Cars in the Online Qualifiers!

This season's Online Qualifiers will offer a variety of races with an exciting lineup of cars from Toyota and beyond. In Round 1, drivers will compete with the popular GR86/BRZ Cup cars, then in Round 2 it’s a one-make race with the Prius '09. Round 7, the final round, will be an all-Gr.3 affair that will also include cars from fellow Super Taikyu Series competitors Honda, Mazda, Nissan, and Subaru. Be sure not to miss this opportunity to experience the best in TGR racing with the TGR GT Cup!

A skill-based league system will be used again in the Online Qualifiers that places players of similar levels against one another. For each league's race times and slots, please see the in-game event details in Gran Turismo 7 or check the following article.
