Opening of the 'Gran Turismo World Series' 2022 Nations Cup – Season 2

We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting the 'Gran Turismo World Series' (GTWS) 2022 Nations Cup - Season 2 from 12 August to 1 October.

The top-ranking players from the GTWS Nations Cup - Season 2 will qualify for the World Finals event due to be broadcast on 25, 26, and 27 November. For details regarding participating countries/territories, number of places available and more, please see section '4. 2022 Championship'> '4. World Series Finals' on the 'GTWS 2022 Championship Overview' page.

Race details and schedule for each Round of the GTWS Nations Cup 2022 - Season 2 are as follows:

1. Race Schedule and Entry Slots (EMEA Region)

・Rounds 1-5 (Fridays): 18:00, 19:00, 20:00, 21:00, 22:00 UTC (5 races in total).
・Rounds 6-8 (Saturdays): 14:00, 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, 18:00 UTC (5 races in total).

Players may enter the event 15 minutes before the start time.

2.Effective Points

In the GTWS Nations Cup 2022, points are awarded according to a player’s final position in each online race. Points will be calculated automatically based on the average Driver Rating of all players in the same race, with the best results from half of the previously held Rounds being counted towards the final score. At the end of Round 8, the points from the best four Rounds will count towards the final score.

Please note that while players may join multiple race slots during the championship, only the points from the last race entered will count.

Season 2 Calculation Example:
・At the end of Round 2, points from the best Round will count towards the final score.
・At the end of Round 4, points from the best two Rounds will count towards the final score.
・At the end of Round 6, points from the best three Rounds will count towards the final score.
・At the end of Round 8, points from the best four Rounds will count towards the final score.
