About the World Series
The history of automotive racing began in 1894 in Paris, France. Looking to sustain it for another 100 years, the Gran Turismo World Series began in 2018 as the 'motorsport of the future,' an official tournament to find the world’s best Gran Turismo driver.
The 2026 World Series will take place over four Global Events where the best drivers selected from the Online Qualifiers, along with seeded drivers, will compete for the championship title.
- Rd.1
Milan - Saturday, 23 May
- Rd.2
Tokyo* - Saturday, 15 August
- Rd.3
Singapore - Saturday, 3 October

Tokyo - Saturday, 5 December / Sunday, 6 December
*Held at the Polyphony Digital Tokyo Studio. Spectator tickets will not be sold for this event.
This championship consists of the top ranked manufacturers from the Online Qualifiers along with Official Partners Toyota and Mazda, for a total of 12 teams. In Singapore, each team will be represented by the leading driver from the Americas Region. Their teammates, from the EMEA and Asia-Oceania Regions, compete at Round 1 and 2 respectively. Points are on offer at each round and at the World Finals in December when all three teammates will race together for the title of Manufacturers Cup Champions.
The Nations Cup is a competition in which drivers represent their home country or territory. The competition brings together the very best 12 drivers, combining the highest qualifying drivers from each Region's Online Qualifiers and the top three-ranked drivers from the 2025 World Series Points Ranking, entering as seeds. Singapore is their last opportunity to add to their World Series points tally before they head to the World Finals in Tokyo and the possibility to crowned World Champion.
