New American Hero PRiMA_Deano Takes the Season 2 Title!

Season 2 of the "Gran Turismo World Series" 2022 Nations Cup got underway on August 12, with the first round taking place at the Autodrome Lago Maggiore. It was won by the popular American driver PRiMA_Lamb, who scored 370 points.

In Round 2, a new star was born. The USA's PRiMA_Deano has shown consistent improvement during the past year and scored a very impressive 430 points.

Round 3 took place on the super-fast Spa-Francorchamps Circuit, with CalenTwentyFour emerging victorious. CalenTwentyFour had actually been scoring well in every round so far and was now in serious contention for the top spot.

Most of the leading drivers struggled in Round 4, which left the door open for Whheaties_ to score 330 points.

PRiMA_Deano came roaring back in Round 5, scoring 396 points.

He'd continue this form into Round 6, crushing his rivals by scoring a massive 392 points and tightening his grip on the title in the process.

PRiMA_Lamb scored 399 points in Round 7, but this wasn't enough to make up for the series of earlier rounds in which he failed to score, thus, he remained some way off the top of the leaderboard.

The last race of Season 2 took place on Trial Mountain, but neither of the top two, PRiMA_Deano and CalenTwentyFour, made an appearance.

As a result, there was no change to the overall leaderboard, and PRiMA_Deano claimed the Season 2 title.
