After receiving reports that a number of players experienced matchup issues during Round 5 of the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GT Cup 2023, held on Sunday, July 16, we launched a full investigation into the matter and found that there were no issues with the game’s matchup function during this race.

Incidentally, we also received feedback that because players cannot see that their driver rating has changed before or after a race in Gran Turismo 7, it could lead to the result of the matchup being doubted.

In response to these comments, we will look at ways to improve game functionality to prevent any such confusion in the future.
