The Red Bull Junior Team announced on March 16 that Igor Fraga will join its roster for the 2020 season. While with the Red Bull Junior Team Program, he will participate in the FIA F3 Championships with the Charouz Racing System team.

Born and raised in Japan, Fraga, 21, is a Brazilian citizen who grew up playing Gran Turismo from a very young age. In 2018, he became the first Nations Cup Champion in the FIA-Certified Gran Turismo Championships, all the while showing amazing speed and aptitude in real-life racing. In fact, he was so skilled behind the steering wheel that he took the Brazilian F3 Championship in in 2017 and became the Toyota Racing Series champion in New Zealand at the beginning of this year.

With two teams in the Formula 1 World Championships, Red Bull has been a mighty force in the motorsports world. By joining the ranks of the Red Bull Junior Team, Fraga becomes a serious candidate to someday soon race at the highest levels.
