The TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GT Cup 2023! Participate to Receive a GR010 Hybrid 2023 Livery

Details regarding the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GT Cup 2023—to be held on Gran Turismo 7—were released by TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) on April 4. The following is what was announced.

The TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GT Cup (TGR GT Cup)—an e-Motorsports series that features the GR lineup of cars complete with special race models—will consist of seven global online qualifying races, followed by a Grand Final in November with the top 24 competitors from around the globe. The TGR GT Cup will once again offer a variety of races with a number of exciting collaborations for all players to enjoy.

The season opens with a bang, as the opening qualifying round will feature the legendary Toyota Sprinter Trueno and Corolla Levin, also known as the AE86 and "Hachiroku."

Round 3 will be a virtual version of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. All players who enter this race will receive a Toyota GR010 Hybrid complete with the 2023 livery in commemoration of the fifth year of TGR e-Motorsports activities.

Round 4 will see the new versions of the 86 take the track in the Virtual GR86/BRZ Cup, while Round 6 will be an all Gr.3 affair that will include Super Taikyu Series competitors Mazda and Subaru.

In an attempt to make e-Motorsports as accessible to as many players as possible, a skill-based league system will be introduced this year for each qualifying round that places players of similar levels against one another. The top-level GT1 League will be followed by two leagues: GT2 and GT3. Rankings will be displayed for each league, making it easy for players of all skill sets to compete.

Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the best in TGR racing with the TGR GT Cup!
