Announcing the 'Gran Turismo World Series' 2026 Live Events Locations and More! Online Qualifiers Start On 14 January!

We are pleased to announce more details about the 'Gran Turismo World Series' 2026, the championship that determines the best Gran Turismo player in the world.

Revealing 'Round 2 - Milan' and 'World Finals - Tokyo'!

Following Round 1 - Abu Dhabi, the second live event of the 2026 Series will be held in Milan, the capital of fashion and design, with Tokyo set to host the World Finals for the first time.

Please see below for the Series schedule. Details regarding Round 3 will be announced at a later time:

Round 1- Abu Dhabi: 28 March
Round 2 - Milan: 23 May
Round 3 - TBA
World Finals - Tokyo: 5-6 December

The Online Qualifiers start on 14 January!

The journey to the live events begins with the Online Qualifiers. First up is the Manufacturers Cup Online Qualifiers, spanning six rounds running from Wednesday, 14 January to Saturday, 31 January. The spotlight then turns to the Nations Cup Online Qualifiers, also taking place over six rounds from Wednesday, 11 February to Saturday, 28 February.

Race details for each round are listed below.

'Gran Turismo World Series' 2026 - Manufacturers Cup Online Qualifiers Details

Official Partners and selection for live events

A total of 12 manufacturers will advance to the GT World Series live events. These include the Official Partners for the 2026 Series (Toyota, Mazda) as well as the highest-ranked manufacturers in the Global Manufacturer Ranking of the GT1 League at the end of the Online Qualifiers.

Rounds 1 through 3 of the World Series Manufacturers Cup consist of individual races, where the top-ranked drivers from the GT1 League in each Region’s Online Qualifiers will represent their respective automotive manufacturers at select live events. The top-ranked competitor from the Americas Region will compete in Round 1 in Abu Dhabi. Likewise, the leading driver from the Europe/Middle East/Africa Region will race in Round 2 in Milan, while the top competitor from the Asia-Oceania Region will represent their manufacturer in Round 3.

Seeded Drivers and regional caps

This individual championship assembles the world’s top 12 drivers, featuring the top three players from the 2025 Series Points Ranking who join as seeds alongside the nine highest-ranking competitors from the 2026 Online Qualifiers.

In the 2026 Series, the following three drivers will enter as seeds:
・Jose Serrano (Spain)
・Takuma Miyazono (Japan)
・Pol Urra (Spain)


The highest-ranked drivers from each Region’s GT1 League in the Online Qualifiers will be selected, according to the regional caps listed below.
