Introducing 'Gran Turismo Sport' June Update: Adding 5 New Cars and the Sardegna – Road Track!
27/06/2019

Gran Turismo Sport will receive an update on the 27 June 2019.

The following is a list of contents included with Update 1.40:

1. 5 new vehicles, from American muscle cars to the new Red Bull X-Series model, will be added.

Chevrolet Camaro Z28 '69 (N300)

Toyota Tundra TRD Pro '19 (N400)

Toyota Sports 800 '65 (N100)

Renault Sport Clio V6 24V '00 (N200)

Gran Turismo Red Bull X2019 Competition (Gr.X)

2. The 'Sardegna - Road Track' will be added.

Sardegna - Road Track
Total Length: 5,113m, Elevation Change: 38m, Number of corners: 15, Longest Straight: 915m

A new road course has been added featuring the island of Sardegna, one of a number of Italian resorts surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea. Using closed off sections of public roads, this is a high-speed technical street course that features both long full-throttle straights and tight corners. In particular, the ups and downs of the latter half of the course and the diminishing road width allow for some real high-stakes, up to the guard rail racing. Along with ‘Sardegna - Road Track ‒ A’, the longest of the three, the 3,893m ‘B’, and 2,661m ‘C’ layouts are also included.

3. A new 'GT League' event, open exclusively to the X2019 Competition, will be added.

X2019 Competition Endurance Series (Endurance League)
This is an endurance race for the competition-tuned Red Bull X2019 Competition.

In addition, the following new rounds will be added in GT League:

Beginner League
2 new rounds added to the 'Light Weight K Cup'.

Amateur League
2 new rounds added to the 'Gr. B Rallycross'.

Professional League
2 new rounds added to the 'Group 1 Cup'.

Endurance League
1 new round added to the 'Gr.1 Prototype Endurance Series'.

4. More additional features will be added.

SCAPES
‘Low-Angle ‒ Ground Up’ will be added to the special featured section.

CIRCUIT EXPERIENCE
'Goodwood Motor Circuit' will be added to the 'Circuit Experience'.

There will be various other features, improvements and fixes implemented in this update. Please enjoy the continuing evolution of Gran Turismo Sport.
