Get ready to start your engine and show off on the tracks to compete for fabulous prizes worth over HK$10,000 as GT5 Asia Online Tournament hits PlayStation®Network!
The tournament will be divided into regional tournaments, cross-regional semi-finals and final, and it is open to PlayStation®Network members from Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. Participating in this first ever Asia online tournament of GT5 and to win the chance to become the first Asia online champion!
Tournament prizes will be sent to the participants’ email address or home address registered in their PSN account. Please ensure that your registered information is correct and valid before you entering the competition.

Due to its popularity, we have extended the event duration to Sept. 9 2011 24:00 (CST). Please note it will not be possible to participate in the event while the servers are down for maintenance, from Sept. 9 2011 0:00-6:00（CST）

Regional Matches
Date	1-9 September, 2011
How to participate	Connect your PS3™ to the Internet. Go into GT5 game. Select "Seasonal Event" under "GT Mode". Select "Asia Online Tournament 2011". Participants will then be assigned automatically to the appropriate regional matches according to their "Region" as registered with their PSN accounts. Participants can then start the match. There is no limitation on the no. of times of entry.
Race course	Tsukuba Circuit
Car Model	Nissan GT-R Spec V (GT Academy Special) * This car will be provided to all tournament participants automatically when they join the event if they do not already have this model. All participants will be awarded with this car (in My Home) after the race.
How to win	Participants will be ranked according to their finishing times. Participants ranked from the 3rd to the 10th will be awarded with a PSN voucher worth HK$500. Top 2 participants will be the representatives of their region for the semi-finals. Results will be announced on 14th Sep 2011.

Cross-Regional Semi-Finals
Date	20 & 21 September, 2011 (20:00 HKT)
How to participate	Top 2 racers from each of the 7 regional matches will be selected as the semi-finalists. The 14 semi-finalists will be divided into two groups with seven participants in one semi-final. Each semi-finalist will be competing against semi-finalists from other six regions. PSN team will send an "Add Friend" invitation to all semi-finalists before the day of the semi-finals. On the day of the semi-final and before the match, PSN team will send a "Game invitation" inviting semi-finalists to join the match. By accepting the invitation, semi-finalists can then join the match. Semi-finalist who fail to accept the invitation in time will be disqualified.

How to win	Semi-finalists can use any car of any condition in the semi- final. Top 3 racers to cross the finishing line will be the finalists for the Asia Final.

Asia Final
Date	24 September 2011 (20:00 HKT)
How to participate	Top 3 racers from each semi-final will be the finalists. PSN team will send an "Add Friend" invitation to all finalists before the day of the Asia Final. On the day of the final and before the match, PSN team will send a "Game invitation" inviting finalists to join the match. By accepting the invitation, finalists can then join the match. Finalists who fail to accept the invitation in time will be disqualified.

How to win	Finalists can use any car of any condition for in the semi final. The first racer to complete the course will become the Asia Champion.

General

This online tournament is only open to PlayStation®Network (PSN) members from Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. Members from other regions are not eligible to participate.
PSN members are obliged to provide real information when registering for a PSN account. To be eligible for this tournament, participants’ registered home address must be in any of the regions listed in terms 1.1 above.
All the prizes of this online tournament will be sent to participants’ email address and/or home address. In case of any dispute due to incorrect information provided, such as but not limited to failure in delivering the prizes to the participant, Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong Limited (SCEH) reserves the right to disqualify the participant and not to send any prize to the participant.
Showing up and participating in the online tournament indicate the understanding and acceptance of all terms and conditions listed above and underneath from the contestants.
SCEH reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions without prior and separate notice.
In case of disputes, SCEH reserves the rights of final decision.

About the Match

Participants must use the designated car model Nissan GT-R Spec V (GT Academy Special) in regional tournaments. However, there is no limitation on car models, brake system (AT/MT), car lanes, traction control system, anti-skid brake system, ASM and ABS used in semi-finals and final matches. These are part of the competition. Participants shall be responsible for their own choices.
Top two racers each from Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia who rank the first and the second in the regional tournament will enter the semi-finals. Semi-finalists will be notified by e-mail, SMS and PSN system message and the list of semi-finalists will also be announced on http://www.gran-turismo.com.
Semi-finalists are required to accept friend requests from the host in order to join the semi-finals. Failing to do so would mean forfeiting the eligibility of participation. The same condition applies to the final.
Semi-finals and final will be held on designated dates and time once only. Failing to participate due to any kind of reasons, including connectivity problems, will not lead to any re-arrangement of matches.
SCEH is not liable for any issue caused by any system, network or connection problem during the match, Should there is such a problem, SCEH’s decision will be final.
