On December 4, 2025, the much-anticipated Gran Turismo 7–Power Pack DLC launches for the PlayStation®5 version of Gran Turismo 7 as a paid add-on, introducing a brand-new game mode centered on the essence of real-world motorsports—and including 5,000,000 in-game Credits.

The Power Pack ushers in a fresh kind of challenge for Gran Turismo, offering a new structure designed to bring players closer than ever to the authentic racing experience.

At its core is an all-new game mode that delivers a wide range of motorsport scenarios: full race-weekend formats that span practice, qualifying, and the main event; plus 50 new races across 20 themed categories, including endurance classics like 24-hour competitions. Every event draws inspiration from global automotive and racing culture. The exclusive use of AI Agent Gran Turismo Sophy 3.0 throughout the mode enhances the action with realistic, nose-to-tail competition.

After completing Menu Book No. 9, "Championship: Tokyo Highway Parade," a sailing boat icon will appear on the lower left of the World Map. Select this Pavilion to access the Power Pack purchase screen.

Real racing in full session format

The hallmark of the Power Pack is its introduction of full race sessions, mirroring the structure of true motorsports. Begin by dialing in your rhythm during practice, learning the nuances of both car and circuit. Set your benchmark in qualifying, and then prepare for the main event. Just as in real racing, every position counts, so fight for every inch because even a single spot gained can define your result. Once the race starts, there are no do-overs and no second chances. This is pure racing, where every decision carries weight all the way to the checkered flag.

Rather than using cars from your own garage, each event puts you behind the wheel of a specially prepared event car. Difficulty varies from one machine to the next, so choose carefully before heading out on track.

Use this session to settle into the car and learn the flow of the circuit. It’s also the perfect opportunity to study the strengths of your opponents before the real battle begins.

In this session, you have a limited window to set your fastest lap. With rival cars circulating the track as well, the challenge is finding the space you need to piece together a clean, decisive run.

Now it’s time for the main event. Once the race begins, dive into the wheel-to-wheel action and push for the best finish you can. Stay sharp—one mistake or sudden collision can change everything.

The Power Pack features the newest evolution, GT Sophy 3.0, delivering the most authentic AI behavior to date. Expect relentless, tail-to-nose battles and racecraft that keeps the pressure on every lap, making each encounter on track a true test of skill.

The Power Pack introduces 50 new events spread across 20 themed categories, each inspired by the rich automotive traditions of Japan, Asia, Europe, and America, as well as historic, tuning, and Nürburgring-focused themes. You’ll journey through the world of motorsports, taking on everything from tightly matched One-Make series and full race-day programs featuring Gr.1 and Gr.3 machinery, to grueling 24-hour endurance tests and a selection of unique, unconventional challenges.
