Opening of the 'Gran Turismo World Series' 2024 Online Qualifiers – Nations Cup

The Online Qualifiers for the Nations Cup of the 'Gran Turismo World Series' 2024 will be held from Wednesday, 17 April to Saturday, 4 May.

The Online Qualifiers will consist of six rounds held in a championship format, with the highest-ranked players of the GT1 League gaining a ticket to compete in the Gran Turismo World Series starting in July.

3. Effective Points

In this championship, you will earn points after each race according to your finishing position in the race. The points gained are determined automatically by the average Driver Rating of all drivers matched in that race. The overall ranking is based on an effective points system. At the end of Round 6, the scores from your three best rounds will be counted. Please note, while you may join multiple race slots in a round, only the points from the last race entered will count.

For example:
- After two rounds, the points from the best round will represent the final score.
- After three rounds, the points from the two best rounds will be tallied for the final score.
- After all six rounds, the points from the three best rounds will be tallied for the final score.

(Half numbers will be rounded up.)

If two or more competitors have an equal number of points at the end of the Online Qualifiers, the ranking will be determined following these criteria:
 a) the competitor with the highest individual points across all rounds; and
 b) if still tied, the competitor with the highest individual points in a single round; and
 c) if still tied, the competitor with the highest Driver Rating (DR); and
 d) if still tied, the competitor with the highest Sportsmanship Rating (SR); and
 e) if still tied, the competitor who started playing 'Gran Turismo 7' earlier, according to their account for PlayStation™Network's record.

4. Points Ranking Rewards

Players can win In-game Credits according to their position in the online rankings with the new ‘Point Ranking Rewards’ bonus. These rewards will be distributed at the end of the season to players who finish within the specified ranking position and can be collected from the ‘Sport’ mode.
