Mazda Releases the Teaser Trailer for the RX-VISION GT3 EVO, Coming to 'Gran Turismo 7' This Year!
On 15 August, Mazda released a trailer during the 'Gran Turismo World Series' 2026 Rd.2 – Tokyo (hosted at the Polyphony Digital Tokyo Studio), showing the new Gr.3 racing car 'MAZDA RX-VISION GT3 EVO' that will feature in the World Series.
The Mazda 'RX-VISION GT3 CONCEPT' currently featuring in the World Series was first introduced in 'Gran Turismo Sport' in 2020. It was later added to 'Gran Turismo 7,' released in 2022, and has been used as the competition car for Mazda in the World Series for a total of six years.
The newly revealed RX-VISION GT3 EVO is the next evolution of that model. Longtime Mazda Design Chief Ikuo Maeda, MAZDA SPIRIT RACING’s representative and renowned for launching Mazda’s 'Kodo' design philosophy and for creating the RX-VISION, provided his thoughts on the development of the RX-VISION GT3 EVO, stating in the video, "The beauty and presence of the RX-VISION - I absolutely did not want to compromise that. On top of that, I wanted to portray its evolution on the track."
The MAZDA RX-VISION GT3 EVO will be added to Gran Turismo 7 later this year.
