Taipei Game Show Report: The Birth of Gran Turismo 5 Asia Grand Champion!

Gran Turismo 5 was exhibited at the SCET booth at the Taipei Game Show from 18 to 22 February.
At the booth, there was a display set up for 3D, and also a set up with five monitors updated to software version 1.06 on 18 February with the newly added “Multi Monitor” mode, which was highly rated by the visitors.
Further more, GT-R Stealth Model by Nissan attracted great attention from the visitors.

On 19 February, Gran Turismo 5 Producer Kazunori Yamauchi made an appearance at the stage event as a guest.
He demonstrated playing Gran Turismo 5 from browser using software version 1.06 with the newly added “Remote Race” mode, which received great interests from the audience as well as the media.
On top of that, champions from eight Asian countries gathered in Taipei to compete for the title of Asia No. 1 at the Gran Turismo 5 Asia Grand Final.
Under the watch of Producer Kazunori Yamauchi, Mr. Patrick Ng Kee How, presenting Singapore, led an exciting race with outstanding performances, and won the title of the first Gran Turismo 5 Asia Grand Champion.
