The free distribution of GT Academy 2012 began from May 1st, and players from all over the world are continuing to participate in the events and shave valuable seconds from their records. This limited-time event teaches you successively more complex sports driving skills in the 8 rounds of trials that become available over time.

In GT Academy 2012, you can also receive prizes that you can use within Gran Turismo 5, if you achieve a certain level of performance.
If you achieve a gold trophy in all 5 events within a round, you will receive the GT Academy-spec Nissan that was used in the trials in each of the rounds. You have a chance to acquire the following cars in the 4 rounds currently open, and there are more cars to add to your collection in round 5 and onwards.

Round 2:	Nissan SILVIA spec-R AERO (GT Academy) '02
Round 3:	Nissan SKYLINE GT-R V・spec II (GT Academy) '94
Round 4:	Nissan 370Z (GT Academy) '08

Drivers who clear all eight events with a bronze trophy or better will receive special "GT Academy 2012" racing gear. Highlighted by a head-turning black driving suit adorned with the GT Academy logo, this getup will definitely spice up the appearance of your avatar in Gran Tursimo 5.

Prizes will be distributed one week after all "GT Academy 2012" events have concluded (on or after July 4, 2012). To add these items to your collection, all you need to do is start up your Gran Turismo 5.
If you do not currently own Gran Turismo 5, they will automatically be added to your account if you decide to purchase the game at a later date. Even if you do not currently own Gran Turismo 5, your account will be given access to these items, and they will automatically be added if you decide to purchase the game at a later date.

How to Receive Your Prizes:

Connect your PlayStation®3 to the internet, and sign into the PlayStation®Network using the ID you used for GT Academy 2012 (If a game update is available, please perform the update first).

From the Grand Top Menu of the game, select [GT Mode] - [Community] - [Gift]

Your Prizes will be shown on the right side of the screen, and you can receive them here. The prizes will then go into the items list on the left side of the screen.

* Please note that the arrival timing of the prizes may vary slightly from user to user.

* Please ensure to receive your prizes during the following time period. If you do not start your Gran Turismo 5 game within the following dates, any uncollected prizes will become invalid.
