On the 5th of June 2015 (local time), PEUGEOT hosted the "PEUGEOT Vision GT Experience" announcement event at their "Automobile Design Network" design centre located just outside Paris in Vélizy, France, to showcase their "PEUGEOT Vision Gran Turismo".

Head of PEUGEOT Design Gilles Vidal gave greetings, and invited Gran Turismo series producer Kazunori Yamauchi to speak on stage. Followed by words from the PEUGEOT Brand CEO Maxime Picat, Kazunori also made a demonstration run with the PEUGEOT Gran Turismo on Gran Turismo 6.

At the event hosted inside PSA PEUGEOT CITROËN Design, a variety of PEUGEOT concept cars and historic Le Mans and Rally cars were on display. Legendary cars such as the PEUGEOT 205 Turbo 16 Rallye, the PEUGEOT 206 WRC and the PEUGEOT 905 were brought out for the guest. On the roof of this building was also a display of their famous PEUGEOT 908 HDi FAP Le Mans and a PEUGEOT 206 WRC car that recorded victories in a variety of races. The concepts cars PEUGEOT EXALT, PEUGEOT ONYX and PEUGEOT 308 R Hybrid were also on display.

Inside the venue, the designer's office environment was also recreated, with a demo displaying sketches to the viewers. Visitors were allowed to get a first-hand look at the craftsmanship that goes into PEUGEOT cars in this way. This was an event that really showcased through Vision Gran Turismo, how PEUGEOT, the oldest car manufacturer in the world (with a 120 year history) really places importance on design.

A trial contest was organised between the gamers. The winner, Kwamé from PlanèteGT, who won the time, has also been the lucky winner of a special day with the PEUGEOT Sport teams in Castellet on the GT Tour, in late October.
