Round 7 and 8 are now open in "GT Academy 2012".

Based on performance in the 5th event of Round 8, players will be selected to participate in the National Final Event - please check the GT Academy 2012 page for the number of places that are available to those that qualify from the final event of Round 8.

The track used for Round 8-5 is Twin Ring Motegi, which is revealed for the first time in Gran Turismo 5 on PlayStation®3.

Regardless of your result in the final event, if you achieve a Gold Trophy in all 5 events in each round, you will receive a car that you can use within the full Gran Turismo 5 game.
In addition, if you clear all rounds with a Bronze Trophy or better results, you will receive a special racing suit that you can also use in the full Gran Turismo 5 game.
