Announcing the 'TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GT Cup 2022' Details!

On 18 April, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) has announced the details for the ‘TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GT Cup 2022' e-Motorsports series. This Series will be held in 'Gran Turismo 7,' and will consist of a total of 7 Rounds centred on online races, followed by a Final involving the best 24 competitors.

The 'TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GT Cup' ('TGR GT Cup' hereafter) is a championship featuring the GR lineup of cars including the special race models. Originally, TGR hosted the 'GR Supra GT Cup' One-Make Series in 2019 on Gran Turismo Sport. In 2021, with the creation of the 'TGR GT Cup' a new format was introduced, expanding the roster of available cars to all GR vehicles.

The 2022 Series of the ‘TGR GT Cup’ will continue this expansion, introducing cars like the Toyota Supra GT500 ’97 already included in the game, as well as other models planned to be added in future updates. In addition, this year Subaru will also participate as being the development partner of the GR86: in Round 5 of Qualifying held at the Autopolis circuit, it will be possible to compete not only with the GR86, but also with the Subaru BRZ.

Please look forward to the 'TGR GT Cup 2022' by TGR, the centre of attention in both the real world of motorsports and Gran Turismo 7.
