A.Eligibility

The Global Online Qualification for the 'Olympic Virtual Series Motor Sport Event' is open to anyone from within the 'Sport' mode of GT Sport.

However, participation in the World Final of this competition will be limited to competitors aged 18 or over at the time of the event.

(In Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, competitors must be aged 21 or over on the starting date of the event.)

Participation at the World Final is limited to competitors residing in the following countries/territories and regions.

B.CHAMPIONSHIP STRUCTURE

The Olympic Virtual Series Motor Sport Event will comprise of the following two events:

1Global Online Qualification
2World Final

1GLOBAL ONLINE QUALIFICATION

This is a time trial event in which competitors compete for a place at the Olympic Virtual Series World Final.
The top competitors from the Global Online Qualification will qualify for the final.

Global Online Qualification Participation

The Time Trial can be entered from within the 'Sport' mode of GT Sport.

This is a global online event for the top 16 competitors from around the world selected through the Global Online Qualification.

Finalists will compete to become the very first Olympic Virtual Series Motor Sport Event winner.

Competitor Selection Criteria

The top competitors from the final results at the end of the Global Online Qualification will be selected according to the following criteria:

Maximum number of competitors from the same country/territory 1(In the event that a place becomes available due to a withdrawal of a competitors, then we will reserve that place for the next runner-up following the criteria above.)

Central & South America 2
Asia 4
Oceania 1
Total 16

The Olympic Virtual Series Motor Sport Event is sanctioned and regulated by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA).

Forbidden Activities
- It is forbidden for a competitor to simultaneously participate in the same Championship and Season with multiple accounts.
- It is forbidden to participate using another person's account for PlayStation®Network.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct.

If players are found to be engaging in forbidden activities such as the above, they will be dealt with accordingly, including but not limited to being banned from this event.

Rule Violations and Fraudulent Activities

In order for the organiser to uphold the highest standards and to ensure fair operation for the event, we reserve the right to investigate any suspicious activities.

By participating in this competition, participants are expected to fully cooperate with the organisers if such investigations take place.

If a competitor is found by the organiser to have violated rules or have taken part in fraudulent activities, they may be disqualified or subject to other penalties.
