This is the main scenario mode of this game, where you begin from the entry level and gradually acquire higher level licenses. With a new system that allows you to progress by gathering a pre-requisite number of stars, progress in the game can be matched to your skill. Many types of events have been made available: later in the game there are particular events where the weather conditions change continuously. There are also events that recreate the feeling of endurance races in a much shorter period of time.
Winning events will award in-game credits that can be used to purchase cars and parts.

The Data Logger will analyze the driving data stored on a Replay file and display it in a graph form; allowing users to view and compare the variations in vehicle speed, acceleration points, braking points, engine rpm values, horizontal g-force, steering angle, ride height and gear positions. You can compare two sets of replays recorded on the same track, at the same time. It is also possible to analyze the driving data of real cars recorded with Toyota Motor Corporation’s Sports Drive Logger and NissanConnect Nismo Plus by Nissan.

By driving a car equipped with the "Sports Drive Logger" (sold by Toyota) on a real-life circuit, the recorded GPS data can be converted into a Replay file in-game. As of April 2014, it is possible to compare and analyze this GPS data using the GPS Visualizer feature. This feature is currently compatible with the Fuji Speedway, Tsukuba Circuit and the Suzuka Circuit, with more tracks to be added later on. Additionally, as of November 2014, the feature is also supporting NissanConnect Nismo Plus (by Nissan) and it is compatible with Fuji Speedway, Nürburgring, Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway and Willow Springs International Raceway.

The B spec mode is a mode where you give precision instructions to your driver. This popular feature from previous versions of GT will be added in a future update. Look forward to the new, more powerful B Spec mode.
Course Maker

This feature, available at a later stage through an update, will allow you to create your own custom tracks that can be driven in the game. Additionally, in another update we will add the possibility to generate a track by capturing the GPS coordinate data of a mobile app while you are driving that course. This GPS-generated tracks will be available in the game as playable content.
