As we mentioned in a previous announcement, the online services for the PlayStation®3 exclusive title Gran Turismo 5 will be coming to an end as of May 31, 2014. We would like to thank all of our fans who have supported us by playing online over the past three and a half years since November 2010.

As a token of our appreciation, starting May 1st, we will be hosting a final online event within Gran Turismo 5 where you will win 5 cars that can be transferred and used within Gran Turismo 6. We’ve hand selected these cars specifically as they will be very useful in the early stages of Gran Turismo 6, and we sincerely hope you will continue to enjoy online racing in our latest installment.

GT6 is a PlayStation® 3 exclusive title, so all you need to do is to purchase the software to start playing. The game continues to evolve through updates that have been added since its release in 2013, adding new cars and tracks, updating physics, improving user interface, and introducing new features like the data logger.
