Update of the Goodwood Hillclimb and Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo, in line with the Unveiling Event for the 2015 Festival of Speed
On the evening of June 25th (Local Time) in West Sussex of the UK, an unveiling event of a new monument was hosted at the “Goodwood Festival of Speed”.
The new central feature displays the famous Mazda 787B which won the 1991 Le Mans 24 hour race, and the full scale model of the Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo announced in December 2014 in Gran Turismo 6. The Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo was named after the car number ”55” given to the 787B Le Mans winner, and the appearance of the full scale model also made this a memorable moment for “Gran Turismo”.
In line with the event, the “Goodwood Hillclimb” course included in the PlayStation®3 exclusive software “Gran Turismo 6” will be updated (1.20). Gran Turismo 6 players of the world will be able to drive the track immediately with the new central feature recreated in the game.
Additionally, the car model in the game will be updated to match the full scale model of the LM55 Vision Gran Turismo on the central feature with new decals, wheel rim color, carbon brake covers, and Dunlop tires.
For a limited time after the update, a seasonal event will be hosted featuring the Goodwood Hillclimb and the Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo. If you challenge the event and achieve a Bronze or better finish, you will receive the Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo within the game.
