Genesis, the luxury vehicle division of Hyundai Motor Company, unveiled the awe-inspiring Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Vision Gran Turismo Concept at the Gran Turismo World Series World Finals in Barcelona, Spain. This cutting-edge concept car is a manifestation of Genesis’ Athletic Elegance design philosophy, infusing emotion and futuristic design elements.

The front of the car showcases Genesis' updated front design, which reinterprets the crest grille and integrates it with the quad lights. This design creates a cohesive link, visually connecting the car's front and rear volumes with the brand's distinctive two-line signature identifier.

The interior derives Genesis’ "Beauty of White Space" attitude by creating a purist environment for the driver. The essential functions are prioritized to maximize track performance focus.

The X Gran Berlinetta Concept boasts exceptional aerodynamic smoothness. By incorporating aerodynamic aids and carefully managing internal and laminar flows, the designers have accomplished a drag coefficient of 0.34, showcasing impressive efficiency in reducing air resistance.

The X Gran Berlinetta Concept is powered by a front mid-mounted Lambda 11 V-6 engine, electrically assisted by Genesis E-SC technology. The hybrid race-spec drivetrain delivers a total of 1,071 hp and 986 lb.-ft. of torque, ensuring that this car can perform at the highest levels. The V-6 redlines at 10,000 rpm, and by itself, it produces 870 hp and 790 lb.-ft. of torque while the Yasa E motor provides an additional 201 up and 196 lb.-ft. of torque.

The Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Vision Gran Turismo Concept will be added to Gran Turismo 7 in January 2024.
