Also, the content of the following only describes a general case, and may not all be suited for your particular internet connection setup. This does not guarantee that even if the offered solutions are properly performed, that all online gaming problems will be solved.
Also, there are sections of the content that require technical knowledge regarding networking. If you feel that the contents of the instructions are too difficult, do not perform the settings yourself, and consult your network device manufacturer or internet service provider.

This section describes solutions for customers who purchased “Gran Turismo 5 Prologue” who are experiencing problems in Online race events, who correspond to the following 2 conditions:
<Condition 1>
The PLAYSTATION®3 is connected to a broadband router, or a broadband modem, or an Optical Network Unit (ONU) with a built in router.
<Condition 2>
One or more of the following errors occurs repeatedly in online race events.
- - “Matching Failed” appears in the matching screen and cannot enter a race.
- - “Failed connection to host” appears in the matching screen and cannot enter a race.
- - Immediately before the start of a race, “Network Disconnected” appears and cannot enter a race.
If the problems such as those described above occur, please proceed to the following section, “Checking Devices and Connections”.
This page does not cover other problems that do not correspond to the conditions above (For example, not being able to sign in to the PLAYSTATION®Network, cannot connect to the internet, etc.).
