Car Description

McLaren established their road car department “McLaren Automotive” in 2010, continuing to release high performance cars into the world ever since. And the McLaren Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo is a car developed by McLaren Automotive with an eye for 2030 and beyond.
This car which Gran Turismo series producer Kazunori Yamauchi was also involved in development brings to life the future, while staying true to the design pillars and principles established by McLaren; committed to putting the driver first. Within the main structure of the cabin, the driver resides in a motorcycle like driving position. This enabled an extreme cabin-forward design, giving the driver an ability to clearly identify the apex of the corners as they turn. The teardrop shaped canopy covering the driver carries on the tradition of McLaren roadcars, in helping to provide this excellent field of vision.
Mounted behind the cabin is McLarens 4-Liter V8 Twin Turbo engine. This drives the rear wheels, while the “pods” housing the front wheels contain high output electric motors which drive the front wheels. The overall combined output of the car reaches 1134 HP.
The aerodynamics of the car is also filled with innovation. The body of the McLaren Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo is optimized so that the body itself generates optimum aerodynamic performance, by minimizing individual components that would adversely affect aerodynamics. Rather than actuating surface panels in its active aerodynamics system, tiny aperture covers around the air inlets on key surfaces will open, producing drag and downforce. As a result, the number of moving parts in the system was reduced and helped to keep weight to a minimum. And with McLaren being the pioneer who first implemented carbon fiber into F1 racing, This machine also utilizes carbon fiber components throughout the car, thereby achieving a curb weight of just 2,205 lbs.
The McLaren Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo will be available in three liveries: Performance, Ulterior, and Noir. We hope you will take the opportunity to experience this sensory overload, combining incredible sound with awe-inspiring acceleration.
