Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

Why is it that the online ID appears in different colors?

There were instances where the Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Online mode ID's, normally appearing in white on the starting grid screen appeared in grey, but this has been fixed with the April 15, 2008 update.

This was a program bug and there was no particular reason for the difference in color.
