Urban Courses, driving through famous cities
Route 246

One major aspect of the “Gran Turismo” series, are the urban courses modeled after famous cities of the world. In these circuits made from the “What if we made a circuit in this city?” concept, the course layouts are all original, but the urban scenery and features are of real existing cities.

With grand stands, pit areas, and various signs, there’s no doubt that these are circuits, but if you just glance to the side, you’ll find a more familiar urban landscape.

You might want to try driving through these cities slowly sometime, as if you were vacationing around the world.

Slipping is fun. Dirt and snow tracks
Ice Arena

If the greatest attraction of the “Gran Turismo” series is in the controlling of a car, its greatest moments are probably on dirt and snow.

With man and machine becoming one, controlling the vehicle’s load skillfully to change the heading of a car, and drifting gracefully though a turn at the very edge of control, just short of spinning out -

The uplifting feeling that you get when you clear the corner skillfully like this, is something unique to slippery dirt and snow tracks. Difficult because it’s slippery? No, its FUN because its slippery!

Hone your driving skills on dirt and snow tracks!
