Goodwood Hillclimb and Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo Updated in Accordance to 'Festival of Speed' 2015
On 25 June 2015, "Goodwood Festival of Speed" updated its Central Feature.
The new Central Feature displays the famous Mazda 787B which won the 1991 Le Mans 24 Hours race and the full scale model of the Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo announced in December 2014 in Gran Turismo 6. The Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo was named after the car number ”55” given to the 787B Le Mans winner, and the appearance of the full scale model also made this a memorable moment for “Gran Turismo”.
In line with the event, the “Goodwood Hillclimb” course included in “Gran Turismo 6”, available exclusively on PlayStation®3, will be updated accordingly via the free Update 1.20. Gran Turismo 6 players all around the world will be able to immediately drive the track featuring the new Central Feature recreated in the game.
In addition, the in-game car will be updated to match the full scale model of the LM55 Vision Gran Turismo appearing on the Central Feature, with new decals, new colours for the wheel rim, carbon brake covers and Dunlop tyres.
For a limited time only after the update, a Seasonal Event will be hosted featuring the new Goodwood Hillclimb and the Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo: if you challenge the event and achieve a Bronze Award or better, you will receive the Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo in the game.
