'BVLGARI Aluminium Vision Gran Turismo' and Two '10th Anniversary' Limited Edition Watches Unveiled at the World Finals 2023 in Barcelona

On 3 December, Rome, the Magnificent Roman Jeweler of Time, BVLGARI unveiled their revolutionary 'BVLGARI Aluminium Vision Gran Turismo' virtual concept car during the broadcast of the Gran Turismo World Series World Finals 2023.

The BVLGARI Aluminium Vision Gran Turismo is a digital concept car that takes full inspiration by the iconic BVLGARI Aluminium watch from 1998 and shares the same spirit: sporty, smart and essential, yet precise and quality crafted.

The shapes, materials, colours, and the overall design language of the car are directly inspired by the spirit and unprecedented combination of graphic lines of the Aluminium watch. The 'barchetta' body style is an archetype of sportiness which expresses dynamic movement, lightness, and performance.

A collaboration between BVLGARI Product Creation Executive Director, Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani and Fabio Filippini, known for his contributions as former Design Director of Pininfarina, was fundamental in the development of its character.

The body design is an essential combination of pure and geometrical shapes, which are symbolic of Italian car design tradition of creativity and character, integrating some original references like the sporty three-spoke steering wheels and walnut dashboards to the glorious era of '60s and '70s concept cars from Italian 'Carrozzeria.'

The result is a timeless design which is unique and undeniably Italian in its innovative conceptual spirit and its expression of style and coolness, transcending all the temporary fashions and short-term trends, to affirm itself as a pure expression of BVLGARI design DNA.

The 'BVLGARI Aluminium Vision Gran Turismo' will be added to 'Gran Turismo 7' in 2024.

Presenting the BVLGARI Aluminium Gran Turismo two Limited Models chronograph watches

Alongside the presentation of the 'BVLGARI Aluminium Vision Gran Turismo' at the World Finals 2023 in Barcelona came the unveiling of the two 'BVLGARI Aluminium Gran Turismo' Limited Models luxury watches.

The BVLGARI Aluminium sports watch has continued to evoke a revolutionary worldview ever since BVLGARI first released it in 1998. Its chronograph, retaining all of the original’s sleekness and cool, catches the eye with a vibrant yellow directly inspired by the dashboard dials of a legendary Italian gran turismo car from the 1990s.

The BVLGARI Aluminium x Gran Turismo Special Edition fuses the robust lightness of aluminium for the case with the softness of rubber for the BVLGARI-emblazoned bezel. A blend of sporty and innovative materials that flows all the way into the bracelet featuring articulated rubber links connected by aluminium rods. The crown and caseback are forged from high-tech, extra-strong and lightweight titanium with a black DLC treatment, emblazoned with the 10th Anniversary Vision GT logo.

Bulgari introduces the BVLGARI Aluminium x Gran Turismo Special Edition in two limited versions: with a yellow dial and black counters (500 pieces); and with an anthracite dial featuring yellow indices (1200 pieces).

Marking a first since the collection's relaunch in 2020, the BVLGARI Aluminium moreover pays homage to speed with an integrated tachymetric scale. Designed, developed, and built by Bulgari’s integrated manufacture, its engine, the automatic Calibre B381 with chronograph, is perfect for timing thrilling races.

In addition, anyone who purchases the BVLGARI Aluminium Gran Turismo Limited Model will also receive a code to redeem the BVLGARI Aluminium Vision Gran Turismo car inside Gran Turismo 7.
