Detailed 1/18 Die-Cast Model of the “Red Bull X2014 Fan Car” Announced by AUTOart
A new detailed 1/18 die-cast model of the “Gran Turismo Red Bull X2014 Fan Car” has been announced by AUTOart, following their previous 2012 model of the “Gran Turismo Red Bull X2010”.
The Gran Turismo Red Bull X2014 Fan Car is the final evolution of a project set forth by Gran Turismo and Red Bull, aiming to create the “fastest racing car on Earth free of any regulation”. At a glance its exterior looks similar to the X2010 and the X2011, but in actuality the entire car aside from the cabin has been transformed into something completely new. You can see the details of the evolution in the Related Images section at the bottom of this article.
The die-cast model of AUTOart pays true attention to the details of this ultimate machine: a unique ABS mixture is used to recreate the sharp edges of the body, and die-cast metal is used for the inner body for rigidity and weight. Like the X2010, the canopy can be opened to reveal the detailed interior. The perfect recreation of sharp edges and complex curves of the body is a true accomplishment only possible by AUTOart.
The model is on sale worldwide for 180 USD (including taxes) and is available in Dark Silver Metallic, Hyper Silver and Red Bull livery.
